Message system working ok?

I just saw I had a new (unread) private message here. I clicked on the Private Message link and there was no new message. The last one was from last week that I had read last week. The Private Messages link again shows "unread 0" but what was that all about? There isn't some new message to me lost somewhere is there?

It is possible to have a corrupted count on almost anything in the database, I suppose. Most things that have counts also have auto-correction built in, so that the next new post, thread or PM, will recount and fix anything that is bad. If it showed an unread message and you went in and didn't find one, it would also do a recount to fix it. Although, I haven't seen a PM count be off in ages around here.
