Is this the same as Avira CIA Commander? And what about Avira WinRollback? Just a month ago I was searching for these tools, but I couldn´t find them on the site. But anyway, nice to see that they are giving this stuff away for free, might come in handy sometimes. :thumb:

@Rasheed187, probably not. I tried this yesterday, it is just a boot cd (linux) with a Avira AV, and a console if you fancy using such :)

The CIA Commander and WInnRollback such as, Unerase, NTFS4dos etc are no longer develloped.

It seems not to support Vista.

Odd. I tried it at work, with Vista laptop. The only problematic thing I encountered was it didn't burn the disc for some reason, could be the drive, drivers, F-Secure, Norton Antibot you name it. Instead I let it create the disc image which I burned with different application.
Vista itself is, I believe, irrelevant as this is a boot disc after all :P

Personally I haven't tried it but look in the user manual here...
Wrong link. Sorry.

That's the removal tool manual? I fail to understand the connection to the Rescue CD.

Strange perhaps? Downloaded the file, and burnt it on a cd.
Rebooted, and tried to run a Antivir scan, that completed in a split second with a messages about "Demo mode"
What am i missing?
