Avast Antivirus??

After the Avast scan, there are few things that said unable to scan..is that normal? What do I do if those files doesn't scan everytime when I scan on there? The HP Software Update popped up in my computer, so recently I installed all of them that they gave me. After that, it's giving me few lists of the files that didn't scan. Someone please let me know what should do when it does this.

Depending on the situation, it's usually normal, and nothing to be concerned about. Certain files are protected, or password protected, for example the definitions files for another security application. More here (http://www.avast.com/eng/faq-other-questions.html#idt_1543)

That happened to me with NOD32 and now with Avira. Its normal like Tarq57 says.
