Is it possible to keep image on DVD

Is it possible to keep the backup image (of a complete drive) on DVD's.

I realise when it comes to recovery the content of the dvd's may need to be transfered to a USB drive.......

I guess this would be in Acronis 11 - I have yet to purchase a copy.

From ver 10 Acronis added the feature to backup directly to DVD discs. But read this before you decide to do this.
