When downloading from the Internet, I get an additional notification that a file is being downloaded to the temp directory under 'Documents and Settings. The filename is always a random set of 8 characters ending in .exe. Does anyone know if the random filename ending in .exe (E4tGhJu7.exe) being created in the \Temp directory is normal when initiating a download? I need confirmation that this isn't some sort of hack that is infecting downloads.
Can the readers tell me whether this is the legitimate way that a download is initiated? I need several responses if possible.
