I get an E mail with some photos attached, but the only way I can view them is to rt. click and save as ,and put them in My Documents then open them. Is there an easier way?

Hi
in your security settings try unchecking ...do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus

Find these articles Will and you may find a suggestion that work's.
"opening attachments blocked by the microsoft outlook e-mail ..." - slipstick.com
"cannot open e-mail attachments in outlook express" - vcn.com
PS - ALWAY'S include version info when asking about a program!

GlobalForce I have found that if I have Irfanview ,it will open the photos. So I am going to open a new post about Irfanview.

So you didn't try either from post six? Oh well, it's ok. If irfanview's good for ya, go with it.

I did go to vcn.com and couldn't find what I needed . Sipstick.com seemed to be about Outlook and I use Outlook express. I do appreciate your help.

There's a tool here you might be able to use - http://www.updatexp.com/blocked-outlook-express-attachments.html
Whoop's, not oe (http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file/fid,19240-order,1-page,1-c,email/description.html). Still, TC's advice should've worked assuming there's nothing outlandish go'in on.

Second part of this workaround (http://www.vcn.com/knowledgebase/article.php?id=017) didn't work Will?

The opening of the photos is not being blocked by OE. I have downloaded Irfanview and that will open them. Now I will have to see if it will interfere with Photo Shop Elements.
