Interesting. I read an account from someone who, ostensibly, took advantage of the offer.

I wonder whether the offer would apply to dual-format players. CC is selling them for $800 and they were going for around $1k not too long ago, presumably to those who wanted an HD player but didn't want to gamble on the outcome of the format wars. Would CC allow customers to trade one of those things, even up, for a couple of Blu-ray players?
