???
Here's what happened.

I installed TI 11 and my goal was to make a full backup image of my 40GB SATA to my new 160GB SATA. Well I made the backup and it said everything went ok. So I told it to restore the image on the 160GB drive and it said everything went ok. Then I rebooted and everything quit working!!!! Now neither drive will boot and my BIOS screen doesn't even come up.

All I get is my harddrive light stays on all the time (even when the harddrive is unplugged???) and the light on my LCD blinks. Don't know what happened but I do need a solution.

are you trying to restore vista or xp? Did you have both hard drives connected during the initial boot following the restore?

If you can't get into BIOS setup, the system is dead in the water, so that's the first thing to work on.

I'd disconnect both hard drives and try booting. Confirm that you can get into the BIOS setup. If you can't, then you have another hardware problem other than one involving hard drives.

If you can't see the boot screens, check your video card is installed properly and the monitor cable connected. It may have been bumped when you were working on the hard drives. Check other cables that connect to the motherboard to be sure none were partially unplugged. Then try booting again.

If you can boot and see the BIOS setup, confirm that the date is correct and that the amout of RAM is correct.

Next, reconnect your 40GB drive and try booting.

Let us know what happens.
