I'm using TI11 with Vista Home Premium (UAC on) and have not had any luck settting a Size Quota. I have a scheduled backup task that does 6 differentials and then a new full.
It works great until it hits the size and tries to delete files. It modified old backups so that when I went to restore it told me I had done over a dozen at the same date and time yesterday. Then it started using old filenames for new differential backups and generally made a mess of things.
I have tried this a couple of times and also tried setting a limit on the number of backups a couple of times.
Disk space on the backup device isn't a problem.
Has anyone been able to make the Backup Location Size Quota work with:
- TI 11 (Build 8053)
- Vista Home Premium (UAC on)
