Geswall and FF updates

Can I have Firefox updates on with Geswall? For Defencewall I have to update manually FF and add-ons.

Sorry, i did not see your post

I update extensions without disabling GW but FF updates launch an installer that will be isolated. So i disable GW before restarting FF for update install

So it is easier with Geswall than with Defencewall. I also have to remove manually some folders and files from untrusted list to succesfully update.

I saw ur post very first day but I use Opera, no FF on my system. Can,t be sure but I think you can update extensions while isolated( FF running inside GW). Only Firefox itself can,t be updated unless u run its update while running outside of GW.

Actually it does not seem to be case for me. Perhaps this depends on the add-on? What does Ilya say?

No I am not. I use DW, but I wanted to know if there is a difference in the policies of DW and GW, and how to update with DW.

Yes, I assume, each policy-based sandbox has its own policy restrictions. I don't know about GW's one, I can say only for DW. It is possible to update FF and its extensions only with trusted FF. Untrusted won't be able to do that.
