Hi,
I'm having issues with uninstalling ESET Smart Security. Every time I run the uninstaller, an error message tells me it a "network issue occurred" and the package cannot be found.
Any tips? Or I'll have to force delete everything. >:( :thumbd:

Hi,
Try reinstalling the same version that's currently on the machine. If it's a missing or corrupted file that's not allowing the uninstall to complete this may replace that file.
After reinstalling then see if you are able to uninstall.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
Actually, I did a Google search, and found the Windows Install Clean Up utility from Microsoft. I ran it, and it found and removed the leftover remnants of Smart Security. Afterwards, I was able to do a re-install.
So, my problem is solved!

after uninstall delete these folders
C OR D:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ESET
C OR D:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\ESET
C OR D:\Program Files\ESET
AND some registry keys
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Eset
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Eset
THIS WILL MAKE EAV AND ESS COMPLETLY REMOVE:thumb:
