I use PG 3.15. Belarc Advisor now requires a new install of the program every time you want the new definitions instead of just updating the definitions as it used to do each month after Microsoft Tuesday.
The Belarc Installer for a new version of Belarc uses a different temp file each time you try to install it. As far as I can see, there is no way because of this to get PG to allow the driver install unless I turn off protection temporarily which I would rather not have to do. The installation gets past the acceptance of the EULA because I get popups from PG, which I allow one time, but the moment the driver tries to install from the temp file PG blocks it and then the installer returns an error. Ordinarily, I would simply go into PG's GUI and allow driver install for the process that PG just blocked but that doesn't work because the next time I try to install Advisor the installer will be using a different temp file.
Am I missing a simple solution (other than disabling PG temporarily)? (The error indicates I am not running from an Admin account but I am. The problem is PG denying the driver install not my using a non admin account to try to install a driver).
