Server couldnt connect

Hi!

I install ESS but when i update have error could not connect to the server. and one more when i insatll to the workstation and update to the server why to need to dissable the firewall of ESS to the server to get a update to the workstation?

"could not connect to the server" -> it could be basically everything .

Could you describe in details your environment and what exactly you do? Do you use Business edition of Eset Smart Security ?

i use Eset smart security and i have internet but i could not update my server ESS. i use proxy the port is 80. and i install to the workstation could not update the client.

Make sure the proxy server is configured properly in the update setup. You can try bypassing the proxy to make sure the problem actually lies in the proxy configuration.
