I've tried using the tags but pics don't show up in posts?

Please read our policy (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=180162) as well as our FAQ (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=63957) on this matter; that should explain all.

As explained in the policy, the change to not display third-party hosted images inline in posts was made for security reasons. People can still post links to other sites, but, no one will be surprised by making an automatic connection to some unknown, and possibly dangerous webserver just because some other member stuck a dangerous IMG tagged link in their post.
We provide virtually unlimited attachment upload capability to members, plus an image gallery sub-forum if people need even more space, and those images can be displayed with IMG tags in posts as needed. We simply prevent the automatic connections to third-party servers to keep people secure. We're not the only site that does this.

I'm all for it! Never cared for unsolicited third party content and fully support the policy change.
