ESS UPDATE

HELLO
when i first boot up my pc,and open ess,and click on update in the menu
area,and look at the right pane,without doing anything, the update bar is open and stuck on 0%.
if i click on abort,nothing happens.
it just stays like that.
i have to go to task manager,and stop the ekrn.exe process.
then reopen ess and the update function is normal.
i have tried different scheduler settings but without success.

don't open ess and click update right after booting the pc ?!?!?


k - kidding aside... is your internet connection live and functioning when you do this, or has it yet to come online - ie, it's still connecting to a wireless network or some other network to gain access to the internet?

None of the ESS Trails will not Update any more from http://u20.eset.com/eset_eval/ ???!!!
Only when you change this to the "Choose Automatically" mode.
Off course you will need the proper Username and Serial to be able to download Updates from here, but the Trail Username and Serial here functioning OK...

I do not know why it is not OK on that Server - maybe he is just temporary down...
From start of this year Eset NOD32 2.7 has also Update problems...
