Do I need to buy 2 4-pack licenses? Or is there a way to pay for just 6 users? I'm interested in 1 & 2 year pricing. One computer needs to be able to host the updates for the rest of them.

there are 2 user packs - so a 4-user plus a 2-user = 6 users. But... if it's a business, contact a reseller and get a price on 6 business licenses - especially if you want to run your own local update mirror (so that all machines do not need to connect to the internet to collect updates).

It depends in which country you live (or shop).
In The Netherlands we've pricing for 1 computer to 50000 computers in steps of 1. :o
Only with a RAC/RAS it will start at 5.

The "packs" are cheaper than using the regular pricing. Don't know why - but 6x regular licenses are more than a 2-pack and a 4-pack. Of course, these home/home business packs don't come with RA and mirror functionality - but that might not be a concern with 6 wk-stations.
