I have just installed Truecrypt 5.0 on my macbook (tiger 1.4) and are having problems mounting pre-encrypted LRW devices. When selecting a device for mounting i get to supply my password, then the program freezez for about 5-10 minutes. When to program resumes to respond the drive is mounted.

Why is this and does someone else have the same problem? Containerfiles work perfectly, both to create and to mount. Could this be a lack of "good" LRW support in OSX?

Explain what you mean by "pre-encrypted LRW devices." Do you mean a device that you have already encrypted using TrueCrypt? And the problem is with mounting? I think the "pre-encrypted" part is throwing me.
