ESS doesn't scan outgoing emails

I just noticed that whatever email client I use, ESS does not scan outgoing emails. Is there a way to set it to scan them?

yes mozilla thunderbird, but I tried windows live mail and even outlook express with the same result.

Personally haven't tried this with EAV/ESS v3 , but in v2 only MS Office Outlook's mail was scanned (both incoming and outgoing) .

There is really no problem about ougoing mail because the firewall and the antivirus/antispyware modules monitor in real time ~everything~ in your computer , there is no chance for you to send infected mail if ESS is enabled

Yes , because ESS/EAV 3.0 integrates with a plug-in in both WLM/OE and Office Outlook . There is no plug-in for Thunderbird.
EMON in v2 is a plug-in , too.
