Hi, what's the easiest way to get my bookmarks from Firefox on my XP machine into my Linux Firefox in VMware Player?
Thanks,

Hello,
Simplest way: copy the profile, you get everything...
Just bookmarks, copy the bookmarks.html from your profile to the new one in VM.

Hi Mrk and thanks for your reply. I'm very new to Linux and VM's and I can't just grab a file and move it yet. I know where the bookmarks are in Windows. I'm trying something however, I imported my Windows FireFox bookmarks to yahoo bookmarks and have exported them to my Ubuntu desktop. And I'm happy to report, I just imported them to my Ubuntu VM :). Another piece of the puzzle solved :thumb:

Thanks ethernal :), I have heard of foxmarks in the past, but couldn't think of the name. I will have a look at it too. I didn't even know about the yahoo bookmarks until last night. I saw it mentioned in an older thread in the Ubuntu forums.
