Hi,

I just update my comodo Boclean (2008-01-21 - 17:37:37)and now it detects Shadowprotectsvc.exe has a trojan??? this is for sure a False positive since this service belong to shadow protect...

Best regards,

Well it appears that the latest update also detect gss.exe (from ghost security suite) has a trojan? Somebody else can confirm that?

Don't know what's going on at comodo?

This is a false positive. ShadowProtectSvc.exe has (by design) security mechanisms which some heuristics will mis-classify as malware.

Hi grnxnm,

I know that this is a false positive but the fact that it tooks three days for Comodo to finally rectifie, one and for all, the situation (it detect shadowprotectsvc.exe under three different names - one different name each day!?!) simply buggar me! I also wanted to warn other that this was a false positive :-)
