hi I have recenlty updated to TI 11 from 9.
I use cloning to give a bootable back up on a slave drive.
My first attempts at cloning from master to slave do not work. It just goes thru the 3 stage check & locking process then in avery short time the scereen says clone complete etc
But on checking nothing has happened.
Have tried twice not and same result
TI 9 was just fine.
running win xp home 2x maxtor 80Gb hd's
Any thoughts anyone
Thanks

If you haven't tried the cloning with the Ver 11 Rescue cd that would be the next thing to try.
Unless you have a compelling reason to use Ver. 11, go back to Ver 9. I have found Ver. 9 handles all my needs, even on a Vista system when using the Rescue CD.

Hello profitxchange,
Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).
Please make sure you use the latest build (8053) (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/updates/) of Acronis True Image 11 Home (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/features.html). To get access to updates you should first register (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/registration/) your software.
If updating doesn't solve the problem, please download the latest version of Acronis drivers (http://download.acronis.com/support/SnapAPI.337_s_e.msi) and install it with disabled logging.
If the issue persists, please try performing the cloning operation using Acronis Bootable Rescue Media, as suggested by DwnNdrty.
If you have any further questions concerning Acronis software, please feel free to submit a request for technical support (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/) or post any of them on this forum. We will certainly try to help you in resolving any issues.
Thank you.

I am a simple non techie person, I want TI 11 to do what it says on the tin and clone HD to HD.
Why do I not have the latest drivers if I have the latest version of TI11.
If I have to download drivers please explain fully the steps and how I disable logging.
Thanks
