error when installing.

when installing the software I keep getting an error saying "error writing to file eset NOD32/antivirus/ekrn.exe verify that you have access that that directory." any tips on fixing that?

I have just got that error as well, I think I have been infected by something as this morning when I turned on my pc (Vista 32) widows defender failed to start with an error and so did NOD32. the file nkrn.exe was missing from the nod32 directory, so I uninstalled the program and tried to re-install, but keep getting the same error you describe. I have tried to run severall on line scanners, each one fails which leads me to think that something sinister has happened.
