spyware blaster and vista home premium

the new version of spyware blaster 3.5.1 works perfectly well with XP, however with VISTA home premium it is unable to locate firefox. I tried all suggestion from the website, but they all failed (eg no register.dat is found on my computer). Anyone an idea?
