Pidmail spam filter?

I would like to know what people think of the kind of technologie that Pidmail spam filter use (www.pidware.com)? Is it very effective against spam?

It appears to be a challenge/response type system that permits someone to by-pass your C/R system by placing a secret word in a place like the subject line. It also looks to be only Outlook at this time.

The "Outlook" restriction makes it unusable for many, and the challenge/response and keyword mix isn't new (or desirable).
