Protection being disabled?

I have used Spyware Blaster for years and really appericate your software. I have recently observed something strange going on. I all ways set all protections but recently when I return even before I check for an update it states that 12 protections are disabled under IE? I select all protections again but it continues to disable the same 12 protections?
