failed to read firewall configuration

Hi there

i install trial version of ESET Smart Security
after instllation it give me error message "failed to read firewall configuration"

i try my best with the configurations but still not working proper
i remove and reinstall but still the same

i hope to find solution at your end

and please inform if this means that my PC is not protected.

i am using windows XP SP2

and still have the same problem

i am not sure where is the mistake.
