Hello!
The first thing you should try is reinstall the application:
1. Download fresh new Eset v3 product from http://www.eset.com/download .
Make sure that you choose the correct version.
2. Uninstall your current version from Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs
3. Reboot the computer when prompted
4. Delete manually these folders (for XP):
- C:\Documents and Settings\All users\Application data\Eset
- C:\Documents and Settings\your user\Application data\Eset
- C:\Documents and Settings\your user\Local Settings\Application data\Eset
5. Reinstall your ESET Smart Security with the file you just downloaded . Use typical install.

Reinstall always works for most programs but immo its the latest solution.
I dont know which time I'm gonna reinstall ESS.
When Eset team is going to improve ESS ?

No problems with ESS now or before. You need to do a clean install as mentioned above.

It may not be ESET team who is guilty for this problem - it may well be related to something else.
If you don't want to do something so simply , you are at risk because at least the anti-malware protections are not working

In order to get the BSOD fixed , you should report it to ESET (with full memory dump) .
Here is how to created full memory dump:
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=176109
Contact ESET Technical support for more information how to upload the dump files on their server => open ESS's GUI -> Help -> Contact Customer care
