My firewall guy is blocking multicast address 239.255.219.45, so I ma unable to use Acronis true image server. In order for him to allow me, he wants to exactly why and where and what this broadcast is. Can someone give me a little more info?

Hello mwilkins....Welcome to Wilders,

Perhaps the below link and post contents will be sufficient for your "firewall guy". Also....it might be best if We moved this thread to our Acronis Support Forum in case you have other questions that the Acronis Support Moderators can better answer.
