If I wanted to exclude an entire site from the web scan (for example, all sites for microsoft.com), I would enter into the exclusion list *.microsoft.com, not *microsoft.com, correct?
Silly question, but I just want to make sure I have this set up right. Thanks!

Correct.
Best way is to try it and see if you get error loading page.

Entering just microsoft.com should work . However I think excluding addressing still doesn't work . I can't make it work on any computer.
Blocking addresses works .
