When I downloaded from their website, I got a full blown version,
does it fall back to the basic / free version after a month, or just stop working?

There is no free version. After the 30 day trial I believe the program will continue to work but you won’t get any new virus definitions.

I installed the final version 3.0.551 (trial) about a month ago. My trial license period expired on 30 November, Friday. Today I noticed, that the licence period "renewed", and is valid until 2007.12.31
I didn't do anything with it at all. Do anybody know anything about this? Is it a bug or a christmas present? :D

Nice present, will have to wait a couple more weeks, unless I try another AV ;)

Okay, the "starting a new one month licence period" doesn't work. :)
Yesterday NOD32 alerted me that my computer is in risk (or something), and the Update menu says Invalid username and/or password...so my present expired. :)
