My DVD/CD burner seems to work fine for all programs. When I try to create my Rescue Boot CD, an error message indicates that the drive is busy. The creation process continues when I open the tray. When I close the tray, I am told the process is finished. The resulting CD won't boot and cannot be read by Windows XP. Any suggestions?

A couple possibilities. If you work with RW media, you probably have a burner program running in your system tray. This will need to be closed or disabled in order for the regular burner to function. If you have any burn program running in systray at all, close it out before trying to create the Rescue Cd. Also, let True Image open and close the tray without your assistance.
Another option would be use Acronis Create Bootable Rescue media option and save an iso file to your hard drive. Then close TrueImage and use your regular burn software to burn the iso file to CD as an image. The results are the same as when you burn the rescue CD direct.
