To disable error reporting, go to control panel > performance and maintenance > administrative tools > services. Look for "error reporting service" > right click & select properties. Beside start-up type, select "disable" > click "apply" > exit and reboot.

You're welcome. Now to discover the source of the errors. If you look in control panel > administrative tools > event viewer (application & system) there should be info related to what caused these errors.

Error reporting has nothing to do with downloading. If you have access to a 2nd computer, you could dLo and burn to disk the installers needed to run on the affected pc.

HijackThis (http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/tools/security_tools/hijackthis) can be dLo'ed and does not need to be installed. It can save a log that can be posted at one of these forums -

How did you get into the registry? I've tried merging with no success. I can't get int registry editor. I can't seem to remotely connect to that computers registry either.

i restarted my computer went into safe mode.
then when my profile was booting up i quick did a Ctrl + alt + del and i started closing out eveything that i did not need open.
oh and dont even wast your time trying to close the drwtsn32.exe you cant do it.
now in the task manager click on file in the menu part. then new task then enter in regedit real sast then hit enter it might take a few tries and it will take some time but you have to do it in parts because the computer will keep shutting down.
and each time you exit out of the regedit at least for me when i did it if i had the software folder in the regedit selected when it rebooted and i went back into regedit it would still be selected.
