2667 here as well (updated 14:21 utc), now that is 2 updates today - surely there should have been some on Saturday and Sunday? or was it a public holiday in Slovakia?

It's not uncommon that there are no updates on Saturdays or Sundays. It's happened before and I'm sure it will happen again. ;)

Last update for me is 2668 on 11/19/2007. Seems all is going well with no problems...perhaps it's a settings issue in your case.

Just seems strange having been on PC cillian 07 that updated more than twice a day AND on weekends.

I know but I've seen it happen with NOD regularly.

Anyone from Nod care to respond?

If there was a serious outbreak during the weekend we would certainly release an update quickly. Since there was no apparent virus activity detected, there was no need to issue an urgent update. Last week you received an update of advanced heuristics which improved proactive detection of new threats.

when your heuristic detection isn't that great, more signatures are required.

Nod32 isn't perfect, but it is close:)

Was this update also present in v2.x?

Thankful

Actually, for Version 3 I'm showing advanced heuristic module 1068 (20071119)
(today). For version 2.7, check under NOD32 System Tools->Information.

It's not uncommon for me to get two NOD32 AV updates a day with v3 as well as v2.:)

Actually, as you pointed out I've had 3 updates already today, I said 2 just so I wouldn't seem to be embelishing my statement but multiple updates during the day aren't uncommon. That's one of the reasons I settled on NOD32 AV after a recommendation of another user.

From the list it is also noticable that there were no updates on 27 October and 4, 10 & 11 November. Strange all these dates fall on the weekend.

Now it could be as Marcus said, that there was no threats discovered these days, could also be ESE haven't the staff to cope, which would also explain the delays in getting fixes or replies to tickets.

Granted....there are days when Eset does not supply updates but in my experience those days are few and far between....YMMV.

I see. Maybe my problem is that I am not on 24/7 (need to save electricity) and missed the downloads.
