I made the mistake of installing v3 of NOD32 and having it lock up my XP Pro laptop so bad that I reverted back to 2.7. Since then the NOD32 control center is hit and miss whether it loads on XP Pro w 2GB RAM bootup.

Well I went to Intel's website and downloaded the most recent video drivers (Jan 07) and did a warm reboot. Control panel for NOD32 showed up. Did a shutdown and a bootup and the Control Panel never showed up. Had to start it up manually.

Oops. Posted the message about the Intel video drivers not working under an old user name.
Kinda of gun shy of version3 of NOD32 since it prevented me from booting up my laptop properly. Believe you posted instructions on how to shutdown the ESET services so that I could boot XP properly and uninstall it.
