ESET Antivirus Error... Please READ...

This is the error message I received when I opened my computer, 10:30 AM Pacific Time, November 15, 2007.

Afterwhich, NOD32™ failed to operate.

I have never imagined that the ESET NOD32™ Antivirus has a "firewall", since I assumed that the error message refers to its "firewall configuration" ("EpfwWindow: ekrn.exe").

Furthermore, the error continuously appear even though I tried to "terminate" the application, and sometimes leading to BSOD.

I am running ESET NOD32™ Antivirus v3.0.563.0.

You don't say which operating system you are using.

You could go to the control panel and do a repair install and see if it helps.

I'm using WinXP SP2. I reinstalled the software and hoping that the error disappear. Thanks for the reply.

BTW, same thing happened on ESET Smart Security v3.0.563.0 after I put a lot of exclusions. I think there is an error with the exclusion thing.

How many exclusions did you approximately add?
