I know password protection of my settings is to prevent unauthorized modification by users.

Does password protection prevent/protect anything else? If not, I dont need it.

As far as I can remember the password I got from Eset when I install Nod32 could not be changed. Do I have to use the same password to protect my settings or I can make my own?

Thanks

Does password protection prevent/protect anything else? <-QUOTE}I'm not sure what you mean by "anything else" but it protects your Threat Protection Module, Update and Nod32 System Tools settings. You can use a password of your choice.

Im not afraid of other users messing with my settings, because that never happen. I was thinking of some kind of remote threath like malware, hi-jack my pc or anything like it.
