View Full Version : ESET Smart Security not updating with newly bought license

Hi Guys

My Smart Security will not update it's virus signature database.

I've already contacted support about this and have been sent a standard response: "Buy a new license".

I bought a new license on the 9th November until 2009.

I've tried replying to the support e-mails but no-one has replied back to me for several days (weekend not included)

This is pretty poor service in all honestly.

Can someone please help me get either a new license or set mine in the ESET database to show I've bought a new one?

put your license into the form here:

http://www.eset.com/support/lost_license.php

the automatic system will resend your license email - in that email it will tell you whether you have a license for Eset Antivirus - or - Eset Smart Security.

When you have that - then contact me or the reseller you purchased from and we'll see how we get to proceed.

Hi

Your USA support passed this onto UK support who advised me to repair ESET. I had already tried this along with a re-install but I tried it again. It didn't work but I re-downloaded ESEST, uninstalled and re-installed and it now seems to be working.
