I decided to stick with this version of the app but ... can I disable the update function ... because I dislike the new version :-\

The update feature, I believe, is not applicable to v. 3. that would have to be done manually.

Otherwise, you may use the setting in update "update only if neccesary"..... (i have dutch in front of me, so i might be a little confused by translation
