Looks like Safe'n'Sec Pro is offering a free license on http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/safe-n-sec-pro/
Is it any good? Blue screen of death scenarios because I haven't found any recent threads about it on here!? :)

Antivir Premium thinks this is an unwanted program. Looks like the license is only good through May of next year. I might go back to Threatfire free and delete this program. :-\ I will make exceptions to certain files Antivir can scan. I will try that for now.
Virus or unwanted program 'TR/Agent.58368.A [TR/Agent.58368.A]
I have changed my mind ... I'm going back to Threatfire.

Hi, folks:
Has this virus of Safe'n'Sec been echoed by other AVs ? Perhaps this is just the kind of one to one bitterness war ? Just curious. I read some earlier comments re this app; too many popups vs TF or PRSC; some BSODs; some under-polished English instructions. Can some one come forward and give this app a warm bear hug, and a welcome remarks?

I don't think this should be compared with TF or PRSC. It's more like TF/PRSC + SSM type program (this is what is generating all the prompts). At least that is how I understand it.
Maybe S can give more details?

Thanks for the link but I would suggest everyone to read the comments (http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/safe-n-sec-pro/#comments) about this product before trying :-X

Does anyone have a clue how this works? It doesnエt do a thing on my machine, with that I mean that after executing the file I get the license but the SnS installer never executes.

Just one lonely opinion by i think they should just make it freeware and forget all the hoops and 6 month licences and all that. It to me just doesn't seem to have made it very far up the ladder after all this time. The field is not so filled that they couldn't advance development of it beyond where it's been for awhile IMO.

Even if it was "Giveaway of the century" I wouldn't touch it with a 10m pole. :gack:
