View Full Version : Vista file copy speed and ESS v 3.0.563

With the latest version of ESS installed and using the default settings, the copy speed in vista from one hard drive to another (USB), is dramatically reduced. It was stuck at 4MBs until ESS was disabled. It this by design? Thanks.

Might be my eyes but that pic says 10.2MB/s

vista has its own copy/paste problems without any av::)

lol an OS 5 years+ in the making, and it takes a 1gigabyte+ service pack to fix simple copy/paste operations.

My computer usually goes up to more than 20MB/s

Does disabling advanced heuristics, runtime packers or sfx archives in the real-time protection setup make a difference?
