Hi,

Previously I had 2.7 setup using BlackSpears settings, I then installed ver 3.0 on top of 2.7. Are the 2.7 settings applied to ver 3? Anything new that need to be configured?

i think you need to re-configure EAV 3 bacause nod32 2.x setting wont be applied to EAV 3.

Hello Cupez80,

So do we use 2.7's settings to configure ver 3? Is there anything not included with 2.7 settings that needs to be configured? Installing on top of 2.7, you would think those settings still apply. At least updates work without futzing.

AFAIK EAV ver. 3.x will be installed with default option (or whatever you choose during install process) - not reading from old config / setting

Actually if installed on the top of v2 , v3 transfers the following settings:
The UN/PW
ThreatSense.NET
Usage of detection for Potentially Unwanted Software

The other things are the default one , which are OK to be used by 99% of users , I think :)

aha... thanks for the info :D i didnt know it
