When I first downloaded Ver 3 I had a task bar icon. Now I don't have one . Why is that?

Are you able to start it via the Start menu - Programs - ESET - ESET NOD32 Antivirus - ESET NOD32 Antivirus ?

NOD 32 was running but no icon. It may have been SSM that was causing the problem. I have gone into SSM rules for egui.exe and protected it from cancellation and now it works.

Are you sure the icon isn't hidden? Try expanding your sys tray to see.

It wasn't hidden. And now it is there every time.

Mine seems to have settled down and is working fine. That has been the only problem. Not sure SSM had anything to do with it. But the icon seems ok now.
