Yeah.
Oh have you seen the price?
:o £38.29 plus VAT. Makes it £10 more than what some folk were thinking.
https://secure.eset.co.uk/order/category.asp?intCategoryId=7
But even at £45.99 it is £1 dearer than my current AVS at renewal. Question is, is Trend PC-cillian 08 any better than ESS?

I pre-ordered a 2 year upgrade licence form the USA for £36 sterling & the remaining period of my existing licence is added on to it, in my case I now have 3 years.

I've just ordered 3x ESS licences for £57.43 (£67.48 inc VAT) from eset.co.uk, that's £22.50 per licence which I happen to think is very good value for money.
Steve.

you will NOT be out on the deal. There is a glitch in the ESet system, as Eset Smart Security licenses are being fulfilled as Eset Antivirus - that is NOT anything wrong our end, but instead a fault of the Eset ordering system which is being worked on as I type.

That's great news. I've just got another mail from them for av only with different user name and password!! You would of thought they should have expected a run on today though.

I received 3 emails from eset.sk for the AV only. 2 of 'em said for 2 user, 1 said 1 user. Called bettervirus and was told it was screwed up on Eset's end and to dispose of those emails because in a little while, they wouldn't be any good. Me waiting, too....

Try this
Uninstall using ESS setup
Ccleaner the registry
reinstall ESS,but DO NOT add name and password
reconnect to internet
goto Virus signature page and put in name and password
update to virus signatures than works

I preordered on 10/29 and still waiting on updated user/pw. They told me this afternoon there was a huge server screwup and all the ESS licenses were being issued as AV only. Then they (eset) got the expiration date wrong, so betterantivus told me to just wait until I received the correct file from them. But dl'd the trial and installed on top of the beta. Appears to running smoothly. :)

-{ Quote: "I preordered on 10/29 and still waiting on updated user/pw." }-Basically the same here (yes we're all in the same boat), although I had loaded the temp username/password, which no longer work as well. Oh well, really don't feel like doing an install dance at the moment...

Correction - UN/PW arrived while typing this - working as desired...., although the duration is wrong - looks to be 2 years from today (vs from April of 2008 which is what it should be, but this correction is not time critical) - and this has been corrected in a second email. It looks like the growing pains are working their way through the system. Of course, now it's for 1 PC....., oh well, the number of permutations are finite - I guess we'll be working through them all over the next few days....

Steve: That may work, but first you have to have the un/pw. Mine is running as installed as a TRIAL.

So is mine. The username & password are in the email ESET sent you when you requested the download.

Steve, am well aware of that, BUT since yesterday I have received SIX emails w/SIX different un/pw and none of 'em are correct. Not going to apply any of them until I receive the correct ones. :(
