Hi everyone, my Eset Smart Security 3.0.551.0 is taking up 100% CPU Usage.
Its the process ekrn.exe that constantly takes up 100% cpu usage.
I turned off the whole thing(antivirus, antispyware & antispam modules) but it still constantly takes up 100% CPU Usage...
This did not happen before it updated when I first installed it.
It is using the 2637 virus signature.
This problem lags up my whole computer... This did not happen with version 3.0.414.0 which did not even took up much cpu memory.
Please help, thanks.
(Turning off Advanced Heuristics never helped...)
EDIT:
Sorry for my mistake... :P
The changes to the settings only applied when I restarted the PC. Now it takes 0% CPU Usage.
Disabled advanced heuristics and it really worked somehow.
Sorry for the creation of this thread.
Admins, please close my thread, Thanks!
