Why such a short life-span for my log-in cookie when I specified "Forever" on the log-in? Pete

I checked my cookie and it is set to expire in 1 year. I believe forever in this forum software actually translates to 365 days, so mine says 1/3/2005 at the moment.

Pete, your's looks like it was placed by way of the 90 minute default login time. I don't know why you got a 90 minute cookie instead of forever, but you do have a lot of different and powerful protections and privacy settings, it's possible something got in the way at login time.

This is the other cookie I have (probably the same one LWM is referring to).

Perhaps when I had to do the login2 in IE, it just gave me a short-term version?

Ah, there you go. 8)

Now of course that means you have to say online until that cookie expires, which is now about 364 days 23 hours and 37 minutes. Sorry, those are the rules. ;D
