Malware problem Please help if you can..

Hi

I'm unsure if this is the right place to post this..

I have done a scan with Nod32 and come up clean also with spybot search and destroy and found one problem that was removed..

when updating spybot search and destroy I get an error shown in the jpg attachment.

I thought just to uninstall Spybot but that doesn't fix what ever it is thats injecting malware into the program..

I did find redhost trojan with a sweep with Spyware Doctor, but the free version doesn't seem to want to remove it, after removal its still there after a rescan...

SWblaster doesn't see redhost at all.


ermm hope you can help with this nfo ive attached the jpg for you to see the problem.

Hello MichaelG,

While this does not really help much....the best I can offer at this moment is to follow the below thread at the Spybot Forum. PepiMK, the developer of Spybot has made an intial post concerning that popup message but as of yet no comments have been made concerning the legitimacy or cause of that popoup.

Until others come along with more than what I posted I'd suggest you consider posting to the above thread at the Spybot Forum and ask them for further clarification concerning that popup message.
