View Full Version : ESS (RC1) Crashes Vista's E-Mail

I always wait until everything in my taskbar (including ESS) has fully loaded before opening Vista's E-Mail; nevertheless when I first open E-Mail it is non-responsive! When I close it and re-open it, all is then well.
This only occurs when ESS is enabled. If ESS is disabled, the problem never occurs.
Any other Vista users experiencing this?

Just running Nod AV RC1 and don't have this problem.

Does NOD AV insert a Spam Filter into Vista E-Mail (like ESS does)? - I think that's the culprit.

No, but I can't believe that's the problem.

{QUOTE-> No, but I can't believe that's the problem. <-QUOTE}Why not? ...I suspect it because when I first startup E-Mail, the Spam buttons are greyed-out. After closing E-Mail and re-opening it, the Spam buttons are 'live'.

Then it is the problem, you just have to wait a little longer for everything running properly.
