Hi Guys,

I tried the newest version of 'LinkScanner Pro', supposedly NOD32 friendly now, & had problems. After Link's reboot NOD32's IMON gave an error, along with other programs complaining. Windows started counting down seconds till reboot, so i did not get the full error messages.

1. Do I need to reinstall NOD32 <Link was removed> if yes.

2. How do I uninstall & save the current config.?

add/remove > NOD32 > what next to save config?

Uninstall NOD32 and Linkscanner, then reinstall Linkscanner first and NOD32 second.

As for saving your settings, see this thread (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=178947).

Hello WS Fuser,

Just printed the export registry trick. I'll bet you could do the same thing using system restore (provided version are the same).

Download fresh NOD32 > restore point > uninstall NOD32 > reboot > restore point

Maybe this would work, but if i need to I'll do the export thing.

The install first routine (work around), is supposed to be ancient history.

How would I know if the IMON error (from Link) damaged NOD32 & it needs to be re-installed?

Many Thanks & Take Care

Like you said teh conflict between LSP and NOD was supposedly solved. Im thinking it may not be and thats why I suggest it be reinstalled.
