Hi monica_84
{QUOTE-> should I give server rights to Internet Explorer <-QUOTE}
As a general rule most client applications you use will not require server rights (allowing inbound connections). Internet Explorer does not require server rights.
{QUOTE-> and my Internet connection <-QUOTE}
Could you clarify what you mean by this?

Ya did it to me pal!! I had to check my firewall to check my settings - no server rights to anyone except IE ..... I guess I should question mark that one too. Oh well, isn't computer life interesting. ;D

Peaches, IE does *NOT* require server rights ... IE is a "client" application and does not act like a server, and needs no server rights. Basically, as CrazyM indicated, server rights means you're giving permission to accept inbound connections that have not been requested or initiated by you .. *that* can be dangerous! ;)
