ESS RC1 on WinXP Pro SP2.
I ran Azureus for awhile, then shut it down. It was no longer running. At all. Not javaw.exe nor azureus.exe. I'm sure.
But then I happened to look at Protection status > Personal firewall in the ESS main window. It listed Azureus.exe there.
I thought maybe ESS was displaying it because of some dead, lingering connections, but then I rebooted my router. Even after that, ESS kept displaying Azureus.exe with a bunch of connections (and a Listening state) that no longer existed.
I didn't reboot, but I've also never seen a firewall or port-to-process mapper of any kind show an application as running with established connections, long after it had been terminated.
